Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to enquire about language courses organised by your school. As your leaflets give only very general information, I would like to ask a few questions before I choose a suitable course.

Although I do not hold any certificates, I think that I am at an upper-intermediate level. I would like to attend a course for advanced learners that would prepare me for an exam, preferably Certificate of Advanced English. I would be grateful for information about what coursebooks are used in your school and if you provide sample papers from previous years.

I am also interested in your teaching methods. As I particularly hope to improve my fluency, I would like to know how much attention is paid and what techniques are used by the teachers at your school to develop the skill of speaking.
