Amerykański angielski na CAE???

Ktoś z Was wie, jak tratowana jest gramatyka i ortografia amerykańskiej odmiany języka angielskiego na egzaminach Cambridge???

According to their website "different varieties of standard, educated English, e.g. British, American, Australian, etc., and registers, e.g. formal, colloquial, etc., are acceptable, provided they are appropriate for the context".

It doesn't really say much, so you can write to them and ask them:

there are really no problems with an american accent or vocabulary; you have to be consequent with the dialect, though. If you start with "humor", then you can't write "recognise."
