... but I believe you should consult it with your thesis supervisor.
Especially when it's a master's thesis (or a bachelor's thesis).
It is not as hard as you could think - I mean picking up an issue to write about. When I was trying to choose my thesis' topic I was also insecure at first. But I started looking for an apposite topic and, to my surprise, I managed to pick even 5 of them. Then, I showed them to my thesis supervisor and he helped me to choose the most interesting one.
It's the best way you can do. You know why? It's simple - when a supervisor chooses one topic for you, even when it's the least interesting topic for you among the all 5, it is still the topic you wanted to write about. Not proposed by any other person - neither from any forum nor from elsewhere.
