1.On what occasions do you receive presents?
What kinds of things do you normally get?
2. What;s the best present you have ever received?
Who gave it to you? On what occasion?
3. Have you ever received a present that you really hated?
What was it? Who gave it to you? What did you say?

1. I receive presents on brithdays, name days, Valentine's Day and Christmas.
I ger CD's, cakes, cardes, prefume and clothes.
2. I have received the best present is my favourite perfume. Mam gave me on brithday.
3. I have received the worst present is pink T-shirt with mouse.
Uncle gave me on Christmas.I say him: "thank you. It is beautiful"

Czyli w tym przypadku - kiedy pisze ogólnie o prezentach jakie dostawała - lepiej by brzmiało:
My mum gave it to me for my birthday.

I think, it is for regardless of when.

No nie wiem. Ostatnio na dwóch próbnych testach użyłam zwrotu on his/her birthday i nikt mi tego nie zakwestionował jako błąd. Myślę, że obie formy są dopuszczalne.
