1.Dear Joe,
How are you? I hope you’re very well.
I’m writing to you with great news. I’m going to Berlin on Friday! I’ll be on a place at about 2 p.m. and I hope you’ll be wait for me on a train station. As you know I’ve never seen Berlin before so I would like to spend there two weeks and visit popular monuments.
Is there some thins you should know about. Firstly, for a month I’m on a diet. I don’t eat caloric food and I avoid sweets. I hope there’s no sweets in your home because it could be my defeat. Secondly I don’t wan’t to share room with your brother, he makes me splitting headache.
I’m going to pack my suitcase. Take care of yourself and keep in touch.
Yours Tom

2. Dear Nick,
I’m sorry I haven’t written for so long, but I was very busy. How are you? I hope you’re fine. I would like to tell you about great news. I’m going to Berlin and I’m really excited! I’m leaving for you on Monday and I’m planning stay there one week.
Before we meet you have to know some things. Firstly for a two months I’m a vegetarian and I don’t eat meat. I packed my special food to my bag and please, don’t cook anything for me because I don’t want to make a problem for you. Secondly, I’m allergic to cats and I can’t spend time in one room with your new cat.
I have to finish now and hope to hear from you.
Regards Tom
