The Faculty of History and Social Sciences at Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw was established in 1987. Dean- dr. habil. Tadeusz Kaminski administrates over Faculty and deputy deans: dr. habil, Agnieszka Bender, pr. dr. habil. Janusz Wegrzecki, dr. Klaudia Sledzinska help him in this. The Faculty has a wide education offer. On the Faculty of History and Social Sciences, recruitment is prowadzona on of the following degree courses: archeology, internal security, economy, european studies, history, history of the Mediterranean region, musicology, history of art, museology, environment and heritage protection, political sciences, social work, sociology. The studies is realizing in stationary mode and non-stationary mode. I chose this Faculty because I wanted to study history of art. Lectures let me acquire knowledge from history of art and history, an experience in the analysis of work of art and understanding of their meaning.
