Women earn less, but they do not feel discriminated against
According to the Social Diagnosis, Polish women earn less than men, but do not feel discriminated against. Professor Janusz Czapiński explains this fact by attachment to traditional gender roles. As this year's Social Diagnosis turned out, Polish women are discriminated against for example in terms of earnings-the declared by women average income is 1/4 lower than the income of men. It does not due to the fact of professional and social status-in all groups (nie jestem pewien tego zdania) , with the exception of pensioners, the difference is the same or similar. Also in occupational groups with relatively aligned competencies, duties and positions, the difference in income between men and women does not disappear, although drops to 19-20 percent.
