This unbelievable incident took place in April 2006 in an athletic 'stiadium' (blad ortog.) in Warsaw. It was caused by 22-year-old Jacob who 'can't' (ja bym tutaj dala 'couldn't') believe 'this' (mysle, ze tutaj to lepiej pasowaloby 'it') until now. If he 'only had' (zla kol slow...had only) known what was going to happen that evening, he 'would've' (tutaj sie pogubiles, chciales napisac...would have') certainly prevented that highly dangerous accident.
That day when his girlfriend 'informed' (to jest troche formalne slowo jak na girlfriend, moze 'told') him she was going to take part in (brak przedimka) running competition (przedimek) following week, he decided he would be there and would strongly support her. All of a sudden he came up with one (tutaj brakuje slowa) his mad ideas to seize an opportunity and use his granddad's fireworks that you only light and hold in your hand and a colourful smoke 'is comming' (nie, tutaj 'comes') out of it.
He didn't realise that they might work 'wrong' (nie, to jest troche koloke - mozna ..might not work, might be dangerous'). When the day of (przedimek) competition arrived Jacob went out to the stadium with his girlfriend. 'On the spot' (wiem, ze chcesz napisac 'szybko' ale to wyglada tak, jakby w tym akurat miejscu, daj tutaj 'immediately') she went to get changed and he sat 'on' (nie, tutaj IN) the box.
He noticed that it was 'wet a little' (nie, ..a little wet), but he didn't care about that.
The flare became hot and only then did Jacob realise that something 'wrong' (moze uzyej slowo 'strange, 'unusual') was happening.
Luckily nobody was hurt 'but' (tutaj to nie za bardzo pasuje, moze 'except') Jacob.
Pamietaj o tych przedimkach (a, an, the).
