1)I'm sorry I can't come to class, because I have go to the gym.
I think going to the gym is bad reason to miss a English class. You can go to the gym at any different time, but the gym is open 24hours.

2) I'm sorry I can't come to class, because I have go to the walk with my dog.
Going to the walk with dog is not good reason to miss a English class. You can go after the class.
