Proszę o sprawdzenie - skarga na obsługę w hotelu

Last week you had a bad experience in an expensive hotel. When you get home you decide to write a letter to complain. At least 180 words.

Nie wiem czy mam 180 słów. Może ktoś pomóc i dopisać kilka zdań przy sprawdzaniu?


Dear Mr Waters

I am writing to complain about the manner in which we were treated in your Hotel at Downing Street.

Your hotel is known for its high standards and staff that live up to customer’s needs. We can’t confirm it judging from our stay. My family and I booked a room 205. Non beds in the room were made. A hotel maid that we found on our floor (Tatiana Jenkins) treated us badly. She spoke to us in a rude and unfriendly manner. When asked to make the beds in our room she answered that she was busy working and added that we could do that on ourselves.

I felt disappointed and asked to see the manager. He appeared an hour later suggesting that we could order lunch without having to pay for it – just as an apology for not made beds.

I ordered runny soft boiled eggs. Mrs Tatiana Jenkins brought them, but they were cold. The butter was put on the tray instead on the plate. What is more there was a conspicuous fingerprint on the butter. In this situation we only ate eggs.

We think Tatiana Jenkins contravened her duty and we hope you will take the appropriate measures against this maid in order to prevent her from similar acts.

We can’t 'confirm it' (nie, bo nie to miales na mysli, mozna dopisac...agree with this statement) judging from our stay. My family and I booked 'a' (niepotr) room 205 (for....napisz keidy) . 'Non' (zle slowo, tutaj 'no') beds in the room were made (ale kiedy...when we arrived). A hotel maid that we found on our floor (Tatiana Jenkins) treated us badly.
When asked to make the beds in our room she answered that she was busy working and added that we could do that 'on' (nei rozumiem uzycia tego slowa tutaj, niepotr) ourselves.

What is more there was a conspicuous fingerprint (tutaj mozna dodac 'visible') on the butter. In this situation (tutaj mozna dodac.. for hygenic reasons) we only ate THE eggs.

We think Tatiana Jenkins contravened her duty (by...being rude and unhygenic) and we hope you will take the appropriate measures against this maid in order to prevent her from similar acts (ale kiedy? mozna dodac ...in the future).

Mozna dodac...Jak zachowanie tej maid jest takie ktore hotel management mysli, ze jest odpowiednie to my wiecej nie bedziemy odwiedzac, i opowiemy o tym experience naszym przyjacielom jak i ze opiszemy nasz experience na social media.

Jak conspicuous to już raczej nie visible (oververbose). Jak by był suspicious, to można ;)

Autorko, chyba plączesz (by) ourselves z on our own i stąd to on przed ourselves. On ourselves znaczy natomiast na siebie/sobie. As in, to rely on ourselves.

Wątek managera trochę nejasny. Skarżysz się, że free lunch to za mała satysfakcja czy jak? Może tak napisz albo z kolei wyraźniej zaznacz, że pomimo interwencji managera pokojówka nadal była harda ;)

Contravened her duty jest strasznie mocne jak na palec w maśle, jak by prawo złamała. Ja bym napisała we think she failed to keep up your standards.

Word ma licznik wyrazów (zakładka recenzja). Masz dość.

Ja bym dał Miss Jenkins, nawet jak podejrzewam że jest married.
