I'd like to depict one of my friends - Radek.
He's a tall boy with many sports talents, in basketball, for instance.
He even trends to be one of the best players in school!
I think he's able to do so, maybe a bit more effort would do it.
He is often said to be one of the best players in match but he deeps down his talent.
He has many friends everywhere, because he seems to be nice and matey.
He's rather famous in Gdynia but he can be even more and more.
I think it's not very boasting to say that we're very good friends.

He even trends (nie rozumie tego slowa) to be one ..
..he's able to do so (tutaj 'so' nie pasuje, pomysl o czyms innym), maybe ..
..best players in 'a' match but he deeps down (deeps down - nie, moze 'ukrywa')his talent. He's rather famous in Gdynia but he can be even more and more (famous?). I think it's not very (czy tutaj jest potrzeba 'very'?) boasting...

your version does read a lot better than mine, however, when I try to help someone I try to keep as much as possible to their level of English, using their words as a base. Including words like 'aspires, declared' (whilst very much apt in this sentence) may be just a little bit above the level of English which the student is currently at. In such cases, a teacher would be able to spot immediately that the work is not 'exactly' student's own.
