Polish is a Slavic language. It isn't very popuar, so is used nearly only by Poles. Before is became a national language, it defeated many difficulties. For over one hundred years of German and Russian occupation it was banned. Despite this it was used and taught in secret. Nowaday it's a Polish national lanuage and we can learn it in every school in our country.
