Proszę o sprawdzenie 4 zdań.

1. In my house we are trying to sort pieces of rubbish for appropriate containers which are destined to waste paper, plastic and glass.

2. We are usually moving by car or bus. Moreover, we are covering near distances on a bike.

3. We aren't leaving the switched on lamplight in empty rooms. What is more, we use energy-saving light bulbs in rooms, in which we are using the illumination for a longer time.

4. In my house in order to save water we are turning off the tap while brushing teeth.

a) Wszystkie te zdania odnosza sie raczej do czynnosci rutynowych, wykonywanych regularnie, zazwyczaj. Dlatego tez lepiej byloby napisac je w czasie Present Simple:
we try, we usually move, we cover, we don't leave, we turn off.

1) "destined to" brzmi dziwnie. Moze lepiej: "divided into"?

3) "the switched on lamplight" - troche dziwna ta konstrukcja. Prosciej: we don't leave the light on in empty rooms/ the rooms which are not being used

"...lightbulbs in rooms {tu bez przecinka,}

"we are using the illumination for a longer time" - ponownie, rozumiem co masz na mysli, ale brzmi dziwnie. Illumination niezbyt pasuje.

Moze wiec cos takiego: "... lightbulbs in rooms which are lit for long periods of time." - lub cos podobnego

4) ... while brushing {OUR} teeth
