The aim of this report is to show in what extent does the Mulvane Centre satisfy our students and to present ways of improving it's facilities. Few participants of the Spring Break programme were interviewed and asked to express their opinion and make a suggestion.

The Range of Activities on Offer

There is a problem with access to the watersports. On certain days only one activity (white-water rafting) was available for the students. Besides no complaints were made.

The Quality of the Facilities and Tuition

Students are generally very pleased with the equipment and the tutors in particular.

Complaints

Accommodation is considered to be a problem. Shared rooms are divided even among five people, which causes trouble with space and privacy for each of them. The same issue especially concerning shared bathrooms.
The other disadvantage is food. One of the interviewed people was very dissapointed by the lack of healhy and vegetarian meals in the centre.
The other student who was content with meals make complaint about small portions.

Suggestions for improvements

What was suggested is to provide hot showers after sport activities for everyone.

Conclusion

It seems to the students are mostly pleased with the services provided by Mulvane Outdoor Pursuits Centre. In order to make this place more comfortable for everyone few improvements needs to be made.
Firstly - choice of watersports activities should be broaden in order to facilitate access to them.
Secondly - Shared rooms and bathrooms should be given for usage to smaller groups of people to avoid problems with space and privacy.
And last but not least - food. It's important to provide wide variety of healthy food and enlarge every meal.
