My friend Darek conducted research aimed at checking how pupils spend their spare time. I decided to share his results with you. There were 30 pupils from class III B who took part in the research. Presenting the results of the survey I'd like to thank the people who were willing to participate in it.
To begin with, the survey states that 12 students says that in his they play computer games in their free time. Only 6 persons like going to the disco and 9 students spend time sitting in front of a TV set. Suprisingly, only 1 student reads books! Unfortunately barely 2 students play sports in their free time. In addition, Darek asked respondents about summer holidays. According to the survey 25 respondents spend their holidays in Poland. The most popular places in Poland are the mountains - 10 students went there. Only 7 students from class IIIb went to the seaside but 8 students stayed at home. According to the survey 5 lucky students go abroad. Although Darek asked so few students if their favourite contries were such countries as the USA or Germany, only 1 student chose those countries. Only 3 students travel to such beautiful countries as Slovakia.
I think that cunducting surveys like that is important because thanks to them we can find out how young people make use of their free time. What intrigued me much was that almost a half of the pupils play computer games. I'd like us, young people, to spend our spare time outdoors.
