Witam,
czy mógłby ktoś fachowym okiem spojrzeć na mój opis miasta Wrocławia? Byłbym bardzo wdzięczny.
Wrocław is famous for fascinating architecture, many historical monuments and many rivers and bridges. Additionally good restaurants and friendly people makes Wrocław a very attractive place.
Wrocław is one of the largest Poland’s city. Is located in the south-western part of country. Wrocław is the capital of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. It is the cultural, academic and economic hub for the whole region. It lieges on 12 islands connected by 112 bridges. It’s a place where you can feel the spirit of a thousand year history. The centre of Wrocław is navigable on foot, but the city has an excellent public-transport system for access to suburbs. We have over 60 bus lines and about 20 tram lines.
If you have got a free weekend and some additional money, why not investing it into the best city in Poland? There are many interesting things to do and see in Wroclaw that one weekend is not enough. If you like nightlife Wroclaw has hundreds of clubs and pubs, where you can meet interesting people, dance and drink.
Wrocław has many historical monuments. The Cathedral Island (Ostrów Tumski in Polish) is the oldest part of city. There are gothic St. John the Baptist Cathedral and the Holy Cross Church. There is also the Archdiocesan Museum – the oldest museum in Wrocław. You can find there the 13th century Henrykowska Book with the first sentence written in Polish.
Inside the former seat of the city authorities – the Town Hall – there is the Museum of Townspeople’s Art where you can see permanent and temporary exhibitions. Is also worth to see collections of the Museum of Medal Engraving Art in the Under the Golden Sun tenement.
If you like silent and green spaces, you can go to park. It's a really beautiful place. In the park you can also find one amazing thing – Multimedia Fountain at Pergola. It is one of only several similar objects in the world. Fountain offers fantastic spectacles. Water jests 40 m up crating a big screen, on which laser animations are displayed, accompanied by classic or modern music.
