Jako prace domowa mam przetlumaczyc krotki fragment z powiesci 'The Thirty-Nine Steps' Johna Buchana. Mam jednak problem z kilkoma wyrazeniami (tz. wiem mniej wiecej co znacza, ale w zaden sposob nie jestem w stanie ubrac ich w slowa tak, zeby po polsku brzmialy w miare sensownie :P):
