What an amazing meeting of rallying enthusiasts :) Sad occasion, though... I'm a keen follower of the sport, read the webnews on a more or less regular basis. Quite extraordinarily, I learned of this great loss while watching TV and waiting for the teletext to tune to a schedule page -- the start page with the breaking news came up first and, as I wasn't interested in it and was busy talking to someone, it was only in the last moment that I saw the headline: "Janusz Kulig nie zyje". I was totally dombfounded and it took me a few seconds to revert to that page, which had by then disappeared. I must have been one of the first readers of the news-bit, as it was about an hour from the time of the accident.
I never had a chance to know him personally, but I really admired his skills, consequence, thinking, and sportsmanship... Cruel and eyrie death it was..
Well... I guess there's nothing more for me to say..
Ps Not to reveal too much of your identity, if you don't wish that, could you let on what car and/or what class was your husband a co-driver in?
