Because it doesn’t … alone. You always need some ‘intencifiers’ to pad it out to make it sound more pointedly in temrs of its felicitousness to the ‘occasion’:
It came to me in a flash of inspiration, almost the way of that a booze-hound does after he makes his confession to the porcelain throne in a cra**er. :)
