Such temporary cognitive ‘blackouts’ can happen to any speaker of any language I guess,
but I don’t think it’s something you should worry about.
It doesn’t have a direct bearing on your language acquisition process or your learning curve, for that matter. I’m not much into neuroscience and cognitive psychology but the term “ The attention control of short-term memory “ may have something to do with your problem.
Language acquisition is a gradual and comlex process. Sometimes you just need to take a deep breath, recharge your batteries , ‘discard your cache’, if you like, and mellow out for a moment with this for a example:
Don’t watch the clip , relax and just listen to the music.
Then listen to this one to switch yourself into ‘more active’ mode :
In this last one Hiromi plays what they also call ‘modal jazz’. To some extent it’s related to grammar.-:)The player doesn’t operate in any particular key but rather modulates between the adjacent keys.
