I wish you would help me more around the house. - irytacja (=może w końcu byś mi pomógł; w zamyśle - nigdy mi nie pomagasz)
I wish you helped me more around the house. (chciałbym, abyś mi pomógł...)

Lepiej druga. Choć pierwsza opcja, moim zdaniem, nie byłaby błędem, gdyż z kontekstu wynika, co nastąpiło pierwsze. stąd nie trzeba użyć P. Perfect.
