Nothing but DO STH.

Temat przeniesiony do archwium.
Most grammar books say that the structure 'nothing but to do sth' is incorrect, so why do so many native speakers use the form with the infinitive to? I've experienced that quite a few times, though I've not been a proficient speaker of that tongue. When you google that, you will discover that there're much many shots for that than for the correct structure.
Z kolei wyrażenie idomatyczne ma już 'to' : there's nothing for it but to do something

There is nothing for it but to learn more and more to be successful in the examinations.
