Bardzo proszę o pomoc w przetłumaczeniu zdania:

-przeszłość jest tatuażem ( ew. jest wytatuowana) nikt jej nie zmaże

Czy - the past is tattoed, nobody can wipe it away - może być?

Rozumiem że opcji tłumaczenia może być wiele ale zależy mi żeby to było podobne do tego powyżej

Tekst jest mi potrzebny do pracy kaligraficznej

The past is a tattoo, nobody can wipe it off
Np.
your past is like a tattoo, it can't be erased

I ‘kinda’ disagree. This zit doc would definitely do it without a trace. :)

There’s no ‘past’ either. There’re only memories with the past being merely some sort of mental ( and semantic) representation in our brain. And I guess our memories are something that can hardly be wiped off so easily unless a doc is using a sledgehammer. But then again, he would probably be called a sawbones.

Good. Your critical thinking instead of taking things how they go or are given to us is a real rarity these days. Your 'character', If I can call it this way, has wowed me from the very beginning. You have systematically been 'enriching' the forum with your disquisitions, or to put it in a slang way, you have been spicing the forum up with some ideas of yours :-), many of which are very funny :-).

Getting back to words of yours quoted here. What you said will tally exactly with Freud's Psychoanalytic Theory, which tells that everything that gets into our consciousness won't ever get out of it, even if we do not remember some things. We know about those three elements, namely id, ego, superego, as Freud define them, located in the psychic apparatus. Some say that this Freud's structural model of the psyche is way too 'soaked' with eroticism and that Freud didn't pay much enough attention to reason.

Sorry for my talking in torrents...
>>What you said will tally exactly with Freud's Psychoanalytic Theory..

Well, I didn't read Freud (probably my loss).
I just think the asker's quote for a tattoo was not the best choice because it's sort of defective.
Maybe putting a 'memory' instead of 'tattoo' would make it sound better.

BTW, There's this one book I've read recently. It was so unbelievably addictive. The title is "Awakening to the Natural State” by yet another genius: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Archibald_Wheeler

....and there are chapters titled like for example, “Who watches the Coming and Going of thoughts” or “Thoughts of the Past Appear Presently”. It’s an awesome book. You can imagine how ‘dynamic’ and crazy at the same time such ideas may sound from the perspective of a renowned theoretical physicist who made quote, “ notable contributions to quantum mechanics and gravitation.”
It’s just unbelievable, I’m telling you.

Let's do a swap, shall we? You read Freud and I will do Wheeler :-). For a bookworm, you will find it compelling :).
ok, then Freud it is :)

p.s. I don't know, I' still thinking about these tattoes and the whole removal thing
about this doc...I guess I know why he's so happy. It's possible he uses some uncommon technique nobody knows about (to clam down these punks), like giving them a hug and a teddy bear before firing his ‘tatto removal laser gun’ :)

Chubby-cheeked people's way of smiling is funny :). Think the picture wasn't photoshopped.

Hate it when I see those Polish slapheads wheeling out (=walking as if they were the most important people on the globe and were in power) in the streets. In this country you are left on your own.

p.s. I wouldn't like to have anything tattooed on my body...

take it easy, it's always better than dropping a backpack with a deadly pressure cooker into the crowd of women and children
I'm interested in this:

http://www.port.ac.uk/departments/academic/icjs/criminaljusticestudies/

My sister commended it to me. Anyway, I will probably be in the UK in a year's time. Will be working and studying at the same time. That is my wishful thinking today. We will see...
p.s. but I don't want to work with the Poles...My intention is to seek something out of the ordinary and take myself away from a Polish mentality for a while. English is my passion, I love it! It's an extremely rhythmic language - if you can't sing, just speak proper English! You can check its melody by tapping or clapping at the time of speaking.

>>>take it easy, it's always better than dropping a backpack with a deadly pressure cooker into the crowd of women and children

It is, indubitably, dead obvious.
