Mam zapytanie i prośbę o wyjaśnienie.

Czemu w zdaniach:
Which is the older of the two brothers ? (Tu pytanie jest zadane do zdania "Bob is the older...")
Oraz:
Which would you rather be, an autor or a autor?

Nie ma who a jest which?

Są to pytania w dziale "pytania o podmiot i przedmiot"
Who jest używane do pytań o przedmio i podmiot, a tu mówimy o osobach wiec who tym bardziej się nadaje.

Czy mógłby ktoś wyjaśnić mi zagadnienie?

Ta regułka stosuje się bardziej do zaimków względnych np. I have a brother, who which is a baker.

Jeżeli chodzi o zaimki pytające, to możemy użyć 'which' w pytaniach o osobę, kiedy mamy podane, z czego możemy wybrać. Dlatego też twoje drugie zdanie jest poprawne (chociaż są literówki). 'Who' natomiast też byłoby poprawe.

Natomiast zdanie nr 1 z jakiegoś powodu nie brzmi dobrze.
