Już pomijając czas, ja optowałam za
Who are you waiting
for ? albo
For whom are you waiting ? (formal version) jak "For whom the bell tolls"
Tutaj dyskusja na ten temat https://www.quora.com/Is-it-correct-to-say-whom-are-you-waiting-for
Przytoczę jedna odpowiedź:
Technically correct (and hopelessly formal) would be “For whom are you waiting?”
“Who are you waiting for?” is accepted, common, unpretentious.
“Whom are you waiting for?” is an artificial, pretentious bastard. It’s like saying “They invited John and I.”
