Czy ktoś może sptawdzić mi błędy?

Potrzebuje w miare szybkiej odpowiedzi na mój wpis gdyż zależy mi na sprawdzeniu błędów w tym tekście. Z góry jestem wdzięczna :)

He was a student in Florance, where he was studying painting,sculpture ,and design. He began a lot of paintings ,but he didn't finished many of them.His picture of the Mona Lisa is the most famous portrait in the world. Leonardo was interested in many things. He wanted to know about everything he saw.He examined the human body.He thought that the sun didn't go round the earth. He was writting music. He design a flying machine 400years before the first one flew. Many people didn't understood his ideas. It is difficult to think that one man could do so much.

He wanted to know everything ABOUT WHAT he saw.He examined the human body.He thought that the sun didn't go round the earth. He WROTE music. He HAD designED a flying machine 400 years before the first one flew/TOOK OFF. Many people didn't understAND (w past simple w przeczeniach wracamy do głównej formy czasownika, a nie przeszłej) his ideas. It is difficult to think that one man could do so much. (zmieniłabym na: It's hard to believe/comprehend that one man could have done so much.)

Zastanawia mnie czas w zdaniu "He started painting" ze względu na to, że części nie dokończył. Czy tam nie powinien być past perfect continuous?

Generalnie w tym tekście powinien znaleźć się głównie czas past simple.
