Is mass a tourism a threat or blessing for local communities?
Massive tourism is a very popular phenomenon. More and more people decide go to the most popular cities in the world to spend there their holiday. However, tourism is not a bed of roses for local communities. There are a lot of adventages and disadventages.
As for the pluses. When you are living in the big city you can have a job. Moreover, It appears that you getting to know famous people. For example, if You lived in Warsaw, you would see in the street somebody who is glorious. Furthermore, in the tourist city is more restaurant, shop, museum etc., because this town has a lot of money.
At the same time tourism has disadventages for the local communities. In the touring city are traffic jams. Environment are destructioned by ehaust fumes and smokes. Many tourist drop litters in the street or on the beach..What is more , massive tourism attracts little safety, crimes morders and drugs dealing. In places, where are crowded of people, automatically they appear and do illegal interests. Thieves also make use of this situation and rob many people.
On balance, it seems that massive tourism have as many disadventages as positive aspects.
