organized holiday or taking things into one's own hands?
When seeing colorful tourist brochure, many people are in dilemma: would it better to choose an package holiday or tour or take everything into one’s hands and have single- handed planned vacation. Deciding on a holiday organized with travel agency has many advantages, but there are also some disadvantages.
The most important virtue of organized holidays is an attractive offer, which includes the most interesting things and places in selected region. People, who decided on package vacation don’t have to worry about reservations, hotels and booking the tickets. A organized group has a reduced admission card and also has a tour guide. Many people suggest that this form is better, because tourists have a given plan during holidays. They have organized time and they could see lots of thing without wasting time on looking for maps, guidebooks or place to rest.
On the other hand, in this kind of spending time are some drawbacks. Indeed in package holidays we have not to worry about everything, but we have to confirm to a plan and defer to a guide. Spontaneous decisions are unfeasible. We could not change plans. An additional disadvantage of organized vacations is impossibility of doing what we want at a given moment. We have a time for sleeping, eating and sightseeing , but that are fixed hours. For this reason, we always know what we will be doing. Our vacations are not surprising and original. They are run of the mill. And the main drawback of package holidays is a unreliable advertising. What looks great and invitingly in an offer may be different in a reality.
In conclusion it would appear that a package vacations are good, but I prefer independence and I like do on what I have a willingness. On holidays I do not like planning. That are individual holidays without tourist agent.
