ten tekst już poprawaiłam, ale nie wiem czy wystaeczająco dobrze:
You wanted me to tell you what am I doing in Edinburgh and how my life look like here. Well, I enjoy it very much. The course is good, but much harder than I thought. Firstly I had no friends, but soon I knew some people who are in the same department as I am. Actually I spend all that time trying to buy some books which I need to read for my course, but it is difficult to find them. I'm sure I will find them soon. When I buy them, I'll be very busy! I must finish now. A friend of mine must write the letter in French, and I offered to help him. Write or phone me soon. If you go to Scotland, you must visit me, but remember t6aking warm clothes! It's so cold weather here!

To dlaczego nie zrobilas tego wczoraj albo dzien wczesniej? Nie zawsze mozesz liczyc na pomoc ludzie tego samego dnia - nie wszyscy maja na to czas.

Actually I spend all 'that' (tamten? THE time trying to buy some books which I need to read for my course, but it is difficult to find them.

I inny problem. Czy poprawnie to przetłumaczyłam:
1. Jego poglądy polityczne stają się coraz bardziej radykalne
His politics is more & more radical.
2. W ich sprawozdaniu jest kilka nadzwyczaj ciekawych danych statystycznych
There are some extraordinarily intresting statistics in their report.
