Infinity / eternity ?

Temat przeniesiony do archwium.
what's the difference [ if there is any ] between Infinity and eternity if we want to consider this with reference to time ?
[ it's so complicated ....but sounds nice .. ]
it would take forever to explain this, sorry :-)
well, for me eternity relates to the time, and infinity to numbers (not exactly, but it's really hard to explain). well, maybe it's rather superficial, but i hope you'll understand my statement a little bit ;)
"eternity" - time which never ends, has no limits
"infinity" - refers to time or space (+length, height) also numbers

To me, "eternity" is more poetic than "infinity" is. It's like "wiecznosc" v. "nieskonczonosc". They can be used interchangeably, but somehow it sounds nicer when we say "I am yours for eternity" than "I am yours for infinity"... The last one is what Einstein could have said... ;o)
