Edward is a very shy and sensitive boy . He is not an average boy. He was made by an crazy scientist that is living in an old castle at the edge of the village. The old man was missing a luck of company, and he decided to create a perfect boy. he was teaching him good manners and well being personality, he read him books and teach basics of moral principles. He give him almost everything legs, heart, intellect. But he didn’t finish his work, that’s why Edward don’t have his own hands but knives, he is a real artist and being that is very sensitive. after the death of his maker (father) the boy was left all alone. Everything hangs diametrically when to the castle that his is living comes suddenly an good heart Avon sealing cosmetics agent name Peg. She has a very good heart that’s why she takes him with her to home, and she didn’t see the real consequents of her action.
Besides his differences in harming way of being and good intentions that he tries to help others he gets some sympathy from not numerous people. Beside his good intentions people of the village are treating him like some kind of thing and is not giving all of his feelings. The boy must have to find strength in side of him to face the other mean and vile face of world.
The movie is showing people intolerance to the difference . in time we can understand that Edward lonely life was better that this when he move in to the Boggs family. Is true that being with them he can feel real family worm and love, but then in vile way he been thrown away from it, and his lonely life with knowing of something different-love and being important for someone was never the same. Return to the old home- old castle was something horrifying, but it was the only way of survival.
In the movie we have this not complete love of Edward that is not able to succeed because of his difference and still involving hate of people. This strong feeling beneath Edward and kim makes that they decide for they own safety that they will never see each other again, but in the passing years they never spot to think about each other.
