With the progress of civilization and improvement of living people started life faster. They needed ‘fast food’ for a good prize. Fast food era has started.
McDonald’s concept was introduced in 1940 in California by McDonald’s brothers. Few years later, it was modified and expanded to McDonald’s Corporation (which was founded in 1955). In Poland first McDonald was founded in 1992 in Warsaw. On opening day was set a world record in the number of transactions, customers have more than 13 000 orders! It quickly became a successful business – from 1966 it has listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
McDonald has became a place for everyone. Today it is a place not only for eating – you will find there parents with their children at dinner, friends at meeting, businessman also! McDrive is a speed way to get some food when you are on the road (jesteś w drodze). You can organize your birthday’s party there!
Nowadays we can see more disadvantages of this event. It had lasting effect on society - more people have overweight, their health is getting worse. Also, it is criticize for the way of getting food (especially organizations like PETA are opposing to fast food restaurants).
Over time, McDonald’s Corporation has come a long way. From small bars to restaurant for families. But one thing is sure – McDonald started a new era. Fast food era. Nothing is the same from that time.
