mg mam pytanie odnośnie "4". Mnie uczono, że w zdaniu z "before", tak jak jest w "4" może być past perfect, ale nie musi, bo to wynika z kontekstu. Ale lepiej użyć Past Perfect.
czyli : We (had) had the car serviced before we went on holiday.

W mowie bardzo często się upraszcza do Past Simple, bo "before" daje nam kontekst.
