"Krzyżacy" is a historical book written by famous polish witer Henryk Sienkiewicz. This fascinating book is set in Poland in XVth century and tells the story of young knight Zbyszko who must find and rescue his fiancee Danusia. This work based on authentic events in polish history.
The story begins when Zbyszko and his uncle Maćko go to the capital of Poland. Suddenly Zbyszko fall in love and want get married. Unfortunately his sweetheart was kidnapped by her father and kingdom's enemies. Zbyszko, despite the fact that he is very young and unexperienced, starts search his Love. At the same time polish king begins the war, which decide about Zbyszko, Danusia and kingdom's future.
It is rather long but involving and well-developed book. It is beautiful written so even those, who are not interesed in fantasy book will not be bored reading it. The plot is very gripping and moving. Moreover characters are realistic and essentially convincing.Last but not least, it contains lot of turns of action and a moving end.
"Krzyżacy" is a timeless book. I would recommend it because this book show the most important ideas in peoples life such as love, honour and patriotism. It is well worth to read.

begins the war, which 'decide' (popraw) about Zbyszko, Danusia and THE kingdom's
future.
It is 'beautiful' (zla czesc zdania) written, so even those, who are not interesed in 'A' fantasy book will not be bored reading it.
I would recommend it because this book 'show' (popraw) the most important ideas in peoples 'life' LIVES (l. mn) such as love, honour and patriotism. It is well worth 'to read' READING.
