I was doing the ironing, when I heard someone knocking on the door.
so I went to see who it was, forgetting to turn of the iron.
at the door it turned ou it was my friend neighbour, who came to ask me of sth.
while talking a sesnsed some smoke in the air. "probably someone doesn't know how to cook - I thought. but after few minutes the smell of burning wood was so intense that I turned around to se if it wasn't coming from outside through my opened windows. unfortunatelly it wasn't the windows but my ironing board was on fire.after pulling the power cable from the socket I started to pour some water on the fire trying to avoid it, and not let it spread. I got burned when trying to reach spare car extinguisher. but after i reached it i put out the fire. lucky I was home alone that day.
