Jak przekształcić zdanie:

It's often quicker to go by underground than by bus.

mam użyć: takes, The bus ................................ the underground.

Moja propozycja:

The bus often takes less to go from one place to another than the underground.

Muszę użyć tylko od 2 do 5 słów, łącznie z takes.

nie wiem czy można powiedzieć the bus takes...., może brakuje jakiegoś rzeczownika jeszcze? np. the bus journey takes......?

the bus often takes less time than the unerdground
ze wzgledu na often nie mozna wstawic journey - limit slow.

dzięki! ale chyba more time. Zdanie wzorcowe mówi, ze często szybciej się dojedzie metrem niż autobusem.

Ale swoja droga zdanie:

"The bus often takes more time than the underground."

wyglada, IMO, malo ciekawie, to say the least. Zadanie bylo dziwne, jesli to mial byc oczekiwany rezultat.

Ps Ja tez nieopatrznie odwrocilem sens wczesniej :)

The bus is faster than the underground.

sorry: the bus is slower than the underground

Niestety, trzeba użyć słowa "takes"
