1) Check their level in all skills before choosing the textbook.
I checked, it's intermediate :), they need revising some grammar from previous stages, but, generally speaking - they should have a book at intermediate level
2) Ask them if they need more Business English or General English.
One of them needs general , the other - more business
3) Determine the potential duration of the course. Some textbooks need 60 hours a level whereas others need 80 or 120.
Thanks for this suggestion. I haven' t considered the length of the course while thinking about a book (it's about 50 hours)
4) Talk to your Longman, Cambridge or
Macmillan representative and let them recommend something. You can also check the publishers' websites.
