Nietypowe użycie 'since'

Witam, czy słowo 'since' jest użyte poprawnie w zdaniu tego typu?

Czy w takim przypadku 'since' oznacza 'od teraz', 'odtąd', 'od chwili obecnej'?

since jest tu niepoprawne
