Prośba o stwierdzenie, która forma jest prawidłowa

Dobry wieczór!

Proszę o pomoc w stwierdzeniu, która forma jest prawidłowa. Chcę napisać po angielsku 'Zapoznaje się z .....' czyli zdanie w czasie Present Continouse. Która z form jest prawidłowa, o ile któraś jest prawidłowa.

1. I'm gettiing familiarize with ....
2. I'm familiarizing with ....

Całe przykładowe zdanie ma brzmieć : "Zapoznaje się z dokumentacją." Zakładałem, że powinno to być powiedziane w czasie prostym ciągłym, ale chyba jednak nie bo jesli zapoznaje sie to rozumiem, że zaczałem to robic w przeszlosci i dalej sie zapoznaje. Proszę o wskazówki. Z góry dzięki.

Acquaint, imo relates to a person eg. getting ac... with sb. /at least on our side of the big water:)/

Moze masz racje, ale jest tez wiele przykladow uzyc kiedy nie odnosi sie do osob, dlatego napisal, com napisal :D

* to slowo tez mozna oddac inaczej, np. files

acquaint to jest bardzo specificzne slowo, i nie jest uzywane w takich przypadkach. Jest staromodne, ale ma swoje miejsce gdzie akurat pasuje.
