W porządku, rozumiem.
Czy
each będzie odnosiło się do tylko dwóch rzeczy (samochodów) w tej wypowiedzi:
Several cars arrived. Each (one) of the cars was mud-stained.
?
Skoro
each nadal pełni "pronominal function" to powinnom jednakże chciałbym się upewnić :)
