Możecie podać link do jakiejś strony która dokładnie omawia niuanse w używaniu zwrotu there is/are?
Mam na myśli zdania sprawiające problemy obcokrajowcom np. The police are searching for..., there is the shrimps itd.

zdanie 'there is the shrimps'(krewetki) jest niepoprawne

jest ok w jezyku potocznym

zgadzam sie, ze ludzie tak mowia, ale bez 'the'...there is shrimps, salmon, cod...

I've bought some ham, shrimps, salmon, bread and now I can't find the salmon I've bought. (taking things out of the shopping bag) There's the shrimps, bread, ham..... but the salmon just isn't there!
