"The third of May 1808" is one of the most famous 'masterpiece' (tutaj l. mn. 'masterpieces') painted by Francisco Goya.
The picture shows (brak przedimka) incident after (przedimek) revolution against (przedimek) French 'which' (jak o ludziach to 'who') were occupating Spain. Joahim Murat- one of the officerS of (przedimek) French army gave an order to execute (tu cos brak) insurgents.
A 'light of latern' (daj to inaczej...a lantern light) is illuminating the people 'which' (o ludziach to 'who') will die soon. We can see fear on their faces, but one man in (przedimek) white shirt 'don't scare' (to nie jest po ang - to jest najgorszy jakis kolokw. - tutaj 'is not scared') about death. He is 'rising' (zle slowo) his hand and is ready to die with 'proud' (zle slowo, tutaj 'pride'). In the background are buildings of (dalabym przedimek) sleeping 'Madrit' (ortog). (This is a very dramatic scene, where some people are asleep in their beds, whilst others are awaiting their fate). Now we can see this work of art in (brak przedimka) Prado Museum in 'Madrit' (ortog.)
Zrob cos z tymi przedimkami (a, an, the)!!!
