Could you, please, tell me how to say "szara myszka" in English?

Yes it is strange and you shouldn't say it simply because it won't be understood. I can't think of an expression for "szara myszka". The only thing that comes to my mind is "plain Jane", but "plain Jane" describes someone who isn't attractive, and not someone who doesn't like to be noticed.

There is an adjective "unassuming". It is used to describe a person who doesn't like to be noticed. You can combine it with "shy" if she's also shy: shy and unassuming girl.

Może być z przedimkiem lub bez, gdyż male/female jest zarówno przymiotnikiem, jaki i rzeczownikiem.

he is male - on jest płci męskiej (męski) ->male - przymiotnik

analogicznie

she is female - ona jest płci żeńskiej -> female - przymiotnik

natomiast

he is a male - on jest samcem -> male - rzeczownik

she is a female - ona jest samicą -> female - rzeczownik

Jakoś niegrzecznie i głupio tak się wyrażać o koledze/koleżance, prawda?
