\"stir, stir\"
;)
No such boxes.... once personal information is stored by the employer there are statutory, common law and contractual limits what can be done with it... that\'s all.... I am an employment lawyer in the UK (and I deal with employment matters inlcuding job applications on a daily basis). Only in limited circumstances one is expected to provide a Letter of Authority but this subject is to specific to be relevant here
hello!
Eliza!

I am taking the piss!
Stirring things up!
;)

I know that in UK one does not have to give a permission to store one\'s personal details. This is what the Data Protection Act 1998 is for and also the Caldicott Report in some circumstances (health).

Boxes are used only if you want/or don\'t (I don\'t) want to be flooded with junk mail as some comapniess may pass your infprmation (address, survey results and such) to other similar companies/agencies.

...but I do not think that people here should be bothered with so much detail when it does not concern them (...yet).

Information overload...

so there.

PS: I have some questions for you but I posted them on \"the other subject\" - Praca w GB.

Thank you, and \"speak to you soon\" - and maybe you could try to write something in Polish? lazybones ;)
:)
