I know for a fact that you can say (AmE) either a camp leader orientation course or better yet youth leader orientation course. The word youth refers to all group ages so a youth leader is prepared to work with a specific age group.
Now, it might be called something different in England or N.Z. or other places.

well, there is a camp counselor in AmE too but I am not too sure about the clear distinction between those two.

Camp counselors lead and instruct children and teenagers in outdoor-oriented forms of recreation like swimming, hiking, horseback riding, and camping ( also in some more specilized subjects such as archery, boating, music, drama, gymnastics, tennis, and computers,etc.)
If I am not mistaken, a camp counselor goes through some extra training before becoming a camp leader. I am a bit fuzzy about those differences...
