Pierwsze pytanie Somebody is knocking at/on?? the door, ma być at czy on ja z dwiema wersjami się spotkałem i nie wiem czy ich mozna tak wymiennie używać.
Drugie zaś pytanie to do zwrotu step out of vehicle, jak przetłumaczylibyście ten zwrot, on oznacza na mają głowęze wiazd tylko dla sachochodów????

when it comes to 'knock' I believe that both prepositions are correct. You may use whichever you want without changing the meaning.

People knock on the door because they perhaps want to produce the sound of knocking on the door for some reason.

You knock on wood, not at wood.
