‘The beauty and the beast’
No… it’s not just the name of the most popular and moving story written by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont. It’s also the name of fantastic photography exhibition which took place in Santa Monica Museum three weeks ago.
The organizers created event on the global scale. They took care of every detail. Everything was prepared in professional and curious way. The exhibition was about the modern approach to beauty.
In my point of view it’s one of these subject which are popular all the time and I think thanks to this this event had so many viewers.
The most surprised me a huge amount of multimedia projects. It was really great because everyone could survive intructive and interactive journey for all decades. All photos was black and white. Thanks to this ,exhibition looked more smart and professional.
The exhibition was for people over the age of eighteen. It's for that because lots of photos was too terrifying for young people. The most unfogratable for me was the photo of young girl who played barbie. Dolls were so thin that it was getting sick at the sight of them. It's showed how young people are programmed by big corporation. They show what is cool and fashionable, how looks the perfect life and body.
It was really scare and so realistic ….
I think it was fantastic exhibition. It’s teached me that our apperance is not so important. We try be the same like women in newspapers or in Tv-shows. But it’s truly far away from normal life…
I recommended this exhibition everyone, who wants look in different way on the world.
