czy zwroty typu 'funnily enough' i 'oddly enough' są bardzo potoczne?
z góry dziękuję i pozdrawiam

sa uzywane w jezyku pisanym

sa uzywane wszedzie, skroocne wersje (bez enough) czesciej w mowie

nie uważam, żeby sentence adverbs były charakterystyczne dla języka mówionego.

funnily enough, I was watching the BBC1 Perfection show a moment ago and the presenter used the phrase Oddly enough... How about that?

Television presenters do not use colloquial language. Period.

Nie są też typowe dla języka mówionego 'na ulicy'.
Każde słowo można wymówić, ale to nie znaczy, że należy do języka mówionego.

Szczerze? To tylko teoria, bo są używane w mowie. Dla mnie te dwa wyrażenia są potoczne, ale nie bardzi potoczne. Są neutralne na dobrą sprawą. To tylko moje skormne zdanie ;)

Wirtten communication can be more or less colloquial/formal too. Dialogues are more colloquial than monologues.

What I'm trying to say is that when you're writing, you're speaking, and so the spoken word becomes the written one; there are hundreds of forums out there where people use letters to present their speech on the forum; and obviously, there are hundreds of posts, not necessarily by the so-called 'educated people', where phrases like Oddly enough have been used, so I still don't fully understand your view on this topic

I made a sweeping generalisation when I said 'written language'. There are many shades to both written and spoken language. That's what you've been pointing to.
My main point has been that sentence adverbs do not belong in a colloquial style.
