“A walk to remember” , melodrama based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks is a beautiful, romantic film directed by Adam Shankman. The movie stars pop singer Mandy Moore and “Once and again” actor Shane West.
Landon Carter is the student at Beaufort High school but he hasn't got any plans on future. He is reckless and self confident, he scoffs at weaker. It all change when London meets Jamie Sullivan the daughter of the Baptist minister. Jamie is a calm and serious girl, without many friends. She's religious and conservative. She is very sensitive person and she have a lot of dreams. The plot is set around the lives of this two very differet young people from the same school, who in spite of different upbringing, live style and ideas of life fall in love. But not everything is beautiful like it would be appear. This film is about young lovers who have to overcome problems at school, with peers but also with love and illnes.
This is not a tipical american film. In this film we can find lots of very important truths about life and love. We can learn somethings about ways in live. We can watch a great love story thanks to which we can think what is important for us. The film apart from valuable contens offers stunning soundtrack, which fall is memory.
“A walk to remember" is very touching and truly gripping film, telling about brittleness of live. I thoroughly recommend this film for everyone who wants to know what is important in our life. The film moved me to tars. This film will change my attitude towards life. Now I am sure, that firs imbression is illusory.
