So it is not as bad as it seems :-) Check some nz jobs web pages and you will get an idea what they are looking for. Nurses and doctors are welcome - most of their own run away to Australia (better money) :-) I don\'t know why they complain - i just tried to go to the specialist ehm.... It\'s not so easy... It turns out you have to go to GP for referrals (cost about 50 $!!!!!!!) and then pay the specialist... Bloody bloody bloody money suckers... :-((((( Anyway got half of what i wanted :-) Better than nothing :-)
It\'s fantastic to be a doctor....almost everywhere. But I\'m not so lucky-in my secondary school I toyed with the idea of studying medicine but...I guess I was too young to consider the matter in all its bearing...and I chose so-called \"soft option\"-economy.Stupid, isn\'t it?
Don\'t remember me....:/
Nobody\'s perfect :-) I chose tourism - wanted to study sthg interesting and where is easy to get a job. Hahahyaha :-) Who could predict by then what will happen to tourism industry... Anyway i\'d rather studied economy than tourism - more possibilities. The only thing i have from my studies is my knowldge about the world and POland... And that\'s all :-)
Don\'t get depressed, there are worse cases :) At least you know something. In economy, everything is fluid and the most important thing is being rich-then you\'re a genius. If not -you\'re nothing.
You could get terribly inhebited! How come you survived it?
It\'s to simple for me :-P I wrote some of my brother\'s essays from economy - didn\'t like it - too boring. If I can make operations on my bank account then i think i am a genius :-) Espacially in here :-P You are who you think you are :-)
Generally it is really simple and boring but some peope have made a lot of money pretending they knew something important:)
I survived because of the sheer will:)And I suppose I\'m as much inhebited as everyone.
Hey that\'s what i like!!!! :-) :-) :-) Seems easy enough but ehr where is the money??????? Show me the money!!!!!! :-) :-) :-) Then i will take thm, thank you very much :-) Oh well - have to think about sth important :-)
Being a POle doesn\'t exclude a possibility of a white collar job, tho. However, you need to be well-educated with a good command of English in both speaking and writing, in other words proficiency level.
I know a couple who went to London recently (2-3 months ago) and although it was already a time considered difficult to find employment due to the deluge of poles and other east-europeans, they made it! They didn\'t experience any problems getting a job. First the girls worked as a waitress in some chain restaurant, and the job was well-paid (she claimed to have eraned a 100 pounds on SUnday only), but she quit this job as it involved too much physical strength and she couldn\'t cope. However, she got employed in a bank as a trainee. Because she worked extrememly hard, employers got to admire her determination and employed her boyfriend as well, counting on aquiring an equally good worker. And now both of them have a white collar job, satisfaction, and money.

So, brave, determined, goal-oriented people, keep working, don\'t lose motivationa, and you\'re gonna succed as they did;)

Kociamama.
Like what?
It sounds like a fairy tale. But I believe it\'s true....
Well.. everything is possible I guess... but then I had a friend who had extensive experience as a manager in City Bank in Poland. He has been looking for a job in Uk for last year and he already had few interviews. He is eager to accept even an entry position, which is ffar below his qualifications, but apparently, as far as he concludes, he has no much chance to compete on Uk market even with freshly graduated, because of his only Polish job experience and Polish only education.

However, I agree with kociamama, it is only good luck what drives this world:))))
If I told you You would get my money :-) I cannot allow that to happen, can i? :-)
He will be lucky to get his foot in the door as a janitor. Back years ago you could start as a teller in the bank without any courses or degrees. If you want a managerial position or anything in the higher ranks, you need to have a degree in business management and a lot of experience under your belt.
As much as I wish the gentleman ALL THE BEST, it will be very difficult for him to get over that hurdle, especially when banks are involved. My guess is he might get hired as a teller but it won\'t be without any upgrade courses and bank manager willing to go the extra mile for him.
Well, he can come over to the States. Over here there are virtually no requirements (such as degrees, training courses, etc.) for becoming a teller; banks hire pretty much anyone who\'s willing to do it.

Of course the money is ridiculous - either right at or a couple of bucks over the minimum wage.
That\'s true with the exception that tellers have become nearly obsolete due to bank cost cutting and major banking technology. He will likely get hired especially as the turn over is massive in bank telling business but with very shaky wages.
It\'s rather not very inviting but I believe IT\'S TRUE!
Be generous a little bit!You will make money in New Zealand, me in Poland...the distance is too big to disturb each other:_))
Ok :-) But i am still thinking :-P I was tempted to start some religious congregation - NZ is very susceptible on new ways to salvation :-) But after all i do not want to base my money on God or Aliens :-) So i am thinking .... :-)
I will think too ,and I wish all of us a nice dose of inspiration! What about selling some land on Mars?:))Only 100 $ a centimeter, a real bargain!;)
Not as preposterous as you think...but not a very original idea either.
I must tell you that a lot of young people have left for England recently. As I work for an international company, I see how many people emigrate and how many of them come back to Poland. Actually, I work for one of the airlines, it doesen\'t matter for which ones, but the truth is that in the beginning of summer holidays a lot of people used to leave for UK, and only a few of them came back very soon. I mean that a flight to London used to be full, but the flight back to Poland was nearly empty ( just 12 or maximum 30 passengers on board !!!! ). But that was the beginning of summer, now a regular flight to London boards approx 70 passengers which is in fact very few. Those who emigrated were not people with proffesion, I mean doctors, lawyers etc, but just ordinary peaple, seeking for happiness and a well paid job. In fact their tour used to end as a disaster, no job, no accommodation etc.
Nah, it\'s too cheap :-)
Ever heard about limited availibity of things??? The less items the more expensive they are :-)
We, people. are strange animals :-)
I don\'t know if limited availibility of things applies well when it comes to selling another planet...if you think it\'s too cheap , tell me your price!:)
Have you ever heard this saying:\"Many can critisize , few can do better\"?
Well i just gave you an idea for a good marketing sales strategy - for free - silly me :-) It\'s like an auction - you put sth there and in description you mention it\'s the last one - and voila! people are bidding against each other :-P
Der preiss ist heiisst :-) That was the name i think :-) Oh well anyway, sell for millions not hundreds :-)
but wht am i expleining this to you???? I forgot you finished economy :-) Well, obviously my work damages my brain :-)
What do you do for a living?I thought that you didn\'t have to work because your husband earns a lot:)
